Michael Shaw is a Director of the Centre for Christianity in Society, Pastor-Teacher at Antrim Baptist Church, and a Visiting Lecturer at the Irish Baptist College and Irish Bible Institute.  He has an MA in Theology from Oxford University, a law degree from Durham University, and a Doctorate in Practical Theology from Chester University.  He is the author of several books including Gospel Renewal, Meeting Jesus, and Issues Facing Christians Today.  Michael has written articles for the International Journal of Religion and Spirituality in Society and contributed a chapter on the theology of images to the Palgrave Handbook of Image Studies (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021).  Before entering pastoral ministry he was a Broadcast Journalist and Assistant Producer at the BBC.  He lives in Belfast with his wife Lauren and son Ezra, and writes at ChristianTheology.co.uk
